3 Minute Daily Makeup Routine

After my first baby was born and I went back to work, I had to learn to streamline my morning routine. After my second baby was born, I had to learn to get ready in about 15 minutes total. There was just not enough time in the morning to get everything done and oddly enough, I accomplished more stuff by the time I got to the office than most people did all day!

I should start by saying I don’t wear a lot of makeup, I enjoy playing with makeup and feel better and ready to tackle the toughest days when I am put together. But, I also like light makeup and use products that enhance, not hid (other than concealer! Ha). I also try to use a non toxic products and look for clean beauty products.

I start with Beauty Counter Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer for a very light coverage, SPF 20 mineral sunscreen. I love this product because it provides the perfect coverage on my skin that just makes it look like I have a filter on my face not makeup, plus sunscreen!

I have never found a blush that I really loved till I tried Beauty Counter Color Pinch Cream Blusher in Hibiscus. This is a cream blush, that blends perfectly and gives you that perfect, just worked out flush.

There are two concealers I bounce back and forth between. Tarte Shape Tape for a little more coverage, especially on those sleepless nights, a beauty blender ball is needed when using this one. I use Beauty Counter Touchup Skin Concealer Pen, which is light, airy and provides the perfect amount of coverage.

My very favorite mascara is Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara, hands down gives me the longest, not clumpy lashes. Only one coat is ever needed for this one!

And that is it! I use an eyebrow pencil and clear gel on my eyebrows most days and some days will add a little eye shadow and a swipe of a lip on the way!
